An Important Set of Four Jacques Adnet Oak Upholstered
Chairs "Four Seasons"
French, circa 1940's
The Frames with scooped arms, raised on four doweled legs with H-form
stretchers connected by oak squares, every back and seat upholstered
with Aubusson tapestry woven by the firm Pinion in shades of blue, salmon,
lilac and charcoal gray respectively; each back with different scene
representing in corresponding colors one of the four seasons, all within
an ondulated ribbon border repeated on the seat. Monogrammed P.O.
